Warehouse Specialist

Role and Responsibilities:

• Safely and optimally handle the loading and unloading procedures for delivery trucks
• Spread out merchandise from the receiving location to various parts of the store to prepare for the day's business activities
• Keep inventory levels accurate and ensure correct pricing is displayed on shelves
• Execute the operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment as stipulated
• Drive store operational effectiveness by implementing strategic stocking, zoning, and organization of products
• Provide exceptional customer service while engaging with customers amidst shipment responsibilities

Required Skills and Experience

• Skill in lifting substantial loads and engaging in physically demanding responsibilities for extended periods
• Familiarity with warehouse or retail freight operations is helpful but not required
• Showing precision in details and maintaining a strong commitment to safety
• Proficiently managing time and utilizing strong organizational skills
• Appropriateness to handle job requirements during early mornings, overnight hours, or weekends as required by the job role

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to roles involving shipping coordination, inventory maintenance, stock control, or warehouse management
• Proficient in using forklifts and pallet jacks (training will be given)
• Skilled at managing tasks independently and cooperating in a team setting
