Shipping Associate

Role and Responsibilities:

• Securely and efficiently load and unload delivery trucks while prioritizing safety
• Dispense goods from the receiving area throughout the store in order to set up for daily trading
• Maintain proper shelf pricing and accurate inventory levels
• Perform tasks operating forklifts and other material handling equipment as necessary
• Ensure store readiness by meticulously stocking, zoning products appropriately, and organizing merchandise efficiently
• Offer top-tier customer care to shoppers during merchandise delivery periods

Required Skills and Experience

• Competency in hoisting heavy items and performing physical tasks for prolonged periods
• While prior knowledge of warehouse or retail freight operations is helpful, it is not mandatory
• Being thorough and safety-conscious in all endeavors
• Demonstrating excellence in time-management and organizational skills
• Ability to manage work responsibilities during the early morning, overnight shifts, or weekends in accordance with business demands

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on involvement in areas like receiving shipments, managing stock levels, tracking inventory, or organizing warehouse operations
• Understanding of forklift and pallet jack operation expected (training provided)
• Versatile in working independently and together with colleagues
