The Merchandise Handler is an integral part of the Home Depot team as they are responsible for the proper stocking and organization of products for customer convenience. Key Responsibilities:

• Unloading Trucks: To safely and successfully unload merchandise from delivery trucks, maintain strict adherence to safety procedures and thoroughly check the correctness of the shipments. Promptly report any differences in product quantity or condition.
• Stocking Shelves: Follow Home Depot's stocking protocol for shelves and displays. Guarantee correct labeling and pricing of merchandise.
• Inventory Management: To ensure that everything is in place, it is essential to participate in inventory counts and audits periodically.
• Replenishment: Keep a close check on inventory levels on the sales floor and engage in stock replenishment whenever necessary, to ensure that customers can find the products they need.
• Safety and Cleanliness: The primary objective when working in an enclosed workplace is to keep it safe and free from clutter. Observing all safety procedures and guidelines, particularly those applicable to the handling of toxic chemicals, and ensuring that equipment is in good condition will aid in accomplishing this crucial objective
• Customer Assistance: Offer impressive customer service by providing help to customers in finding products and answering their inquiries, while directing them to appropriate departments or individuals for further aid.
• Team Collaboration: Team up with colleagues to streamline store functions and create a seamless shopping experience for customers.
