Store Associate - Cashier

• Administer self-checkout stations, supporting individuals as needed and optimizing operations
• Stay informed about product features and project plans to drive sales opportunities
• Abide by safety regulations and adhere to store policies to reduce the chances of incidents and uphold a safe environment
• Support front-end functions by assisting with tasks such as verifying prices, offering discounts, and addressing any escalated customer concerns
• Assist in guiding and empowering newly onboarded Cashiers to instill a sense of teamwork and customer service as top priorities

Required Skills and Experience

• Necessary attributes encompass adeptness in customer service and communication
• Capability to manage transactions swiftly and accurately amidst a rapid work environment
• Familiar with using POS systems and mobile technology for business transactions
• Having the ability to stand for long durations and pick up light objects when needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Having worked as a cashier or in a retail environment for at least a year is advantageous, especially for those applying for the position of Head Cashier
• Directing and developing team members in a retail environment
• Knowledge of products for home upgrades or sales techniques emphasizing customer-centric approach
