Role and Responsibilities:

• Provide customers with quick, welcoming, and error-free checkout and return services

• Implement and follow established safety protocols and store policies to deter theft and create a secure atmosphere
• Contribute to the efficiency of front-end processes by helping with activities like checking prices, providing discounts, and resolving more complex customer issues
• Aid in the training and supervision of fresh Cashiers to encourage teamwork and prioritization of customer needs

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong skills in interacting with customers and communicating clearly are required
• Skill in efficiently handling transactions with precision under fast-paced conditions
• Experienced in operating Point of Sale systems and mobile technology
• Able to stand for long periods and lift objects that are not heavy, as necessary

Preferred Qualifications:

• Candidates with a background in cashiering or retail work, especially for Head Cashier roles, are preferred
• Guiding or mentoring employees within a retail context
• Familiarity with home improvement materials or sales tactics focused on customer service
