Logistics Associate

Role and Responsibilities:

• Safely and effectively load and unload delivery trucks
• Transfer merchandise from the receiving zone to different departments within the store to facilitate daily business activities
• Maintain correct inventory quantities and ensure accurate pricing on shelves
• Use forklifts and other material handling machinery as per job requirements
• Facilitate store readiness by maintaining stock levels, organizing merchandise, and ensuring proper zoning of products
• Ensure outstanding customer care is given when engaging with clients during shipping periods

Required Skills and Experience

• Skill to lift weighty items and execute demanding tasks over prolonged periods
• While knowledge of warehouse or retail freight operations is beneficial, it is not mandatory
• Focusing on the finer points while emphasizing a safety-centric approach
• Demonstrating adeptness in organizational capabilities and time utilization
• Flexibility to work varying schedules that may include early mornings, overnight shifts, or weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous exposure to roles involving the handling, distribution, storage, or tracking of products
• Experience with forklifts or pallet jacks preferred (training will be given)
• Capable of handling tasks individually or collectively
