Role and Responsibilities:

• Ensure customers receive efficient, amiable, and precise assistance when finalizing purchases or returning items
• Supervise self-checkout sections, offering support to clients and guaranteeing effective procedures
• Stay updated on product information and project resolutions to facilitate sales growth
• Ensure compliance with all security measures and store regulations to safeguard against potential losses and maintain a protected setting
• Aid in front-end operations by supporting tasks such as verifying prices, applying discounts, and addressing escalated customer inquiries
• Support in the development and instruction of new Cashiers to cultivate a team-driven culture with a strong focus on customer satisfaction

Required Skills and Experience

• Effective communication and customer interaction talents are crucial
• Capacity to process transactions promptly and accurately in a high-energy work setting
• Proficient with Point of Sale software and mobile applications
• Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting lightweight objects as required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ideal candidates for the Head Cashier role will have over 12 months of prior experience in cashiering or retail
• Managing and instructing team members in a retail atmosphere
• Comprehension of household enhancement merchandise or sales strategies centered on meeting customer needs
